Going Beyond Our Brokenness

Have you ever seen a Japanese paper lamp?

Have you noticed that even if the lamp has cracks and tears, once it is light, its brokenness disappears in the light? Somehow the light consumes the lamp’s brokenness. Once it is light, the only thing you see is this glowing lamp.

I think the message you are trying to convey is, if we be the best we can be, then even our weaknesses will not have such an impact on who we are. Or something to that effect.

Simple, thought provoking post. I like it.
